Hop-on, Inc. (OTC: HPNN), a technology and communications software manufacturer, announced today its intention to acquire Vertuoso, a digital storytelling platform. The acquisition will utilize Vertuoso’s vertical advertising and content strategies to improve Hop-on’s Digitalage platform.
Virtuoso focuses on verticalization and content development and has connected brands and creators to established vertical channels such as IGTV, Snapchat, Ficto, TikTok, and Reels, to name a few. The company will integrate its existing clientele into Digitalage’s platform, presenting personalized ads to its community of content creators.
Digitalage is Hop-on’s platform for digital rights management tools, and with Vertuoso’s assistance, will provide personalized, interactive, targeted ads to its community of content creators and management.
“This acquisition of Vertuoso will provide our users, advertisers, publishers, and other content providers with the tools they need to place and create innovative ads through self-service and innovate trending tech into a new user experience,” said Hop-on CEO Peter Michaels. “This is key in our ongoing efforts to evolve content, tech and advertising into Web 3.0 and the Creator Economy, and thus creating a new, online middle class.”
Curt Doty, founder of Vertuoso, said, “We are very excited about the future of Digitalage and its promise of decentralization, along with a fair and equitable economy. I have been extremely impressed by their futuristic understanding of how technology will lift up and democratize content creation and distribution.”
